Private Classes

We are pleased to offer private shopping and private jewelry design consultation services. This is a wonderful opportunity to work on-on-one with our staff designing a special gift or project. We are always happy to work with our clients in the design of a new piece or with the creation of a perfect compliment to an existing piece. Please call to arrange a convenient appointment.

Basic Beadstringing

Just getting started?
This is the perfect class for beginners who just aren’t sure if they are doing it “right”! Learn about several types of stringing, how to attach clasps to create basic necklaces and bracelets. Once you complete this class you will be able to begin making your own jewelry. No experience necessary.

Wire Work Techniques

Learn to link beads using metal wire
Learn to link beads with metal wire! This is a basic skill that will allow you to make earrings, necklaces and bracelets. You will learn to make beautiful, professional looking jewelry. You will also learn about the many different metals that can be used, including sterling silver, copper, brass, gold filled and less expensive plated metals.

Basic Knotting

In this class you will learn to knot pearls and semi-precious stones with silk thread. You will learn the traditional European knotting technique used by professional beaders. A fabulous way to show off your most treasured beads!

Your Your Own Earring Findings

Learn the basics of making earrings!
Every necklace deserves a great pair of earrings to go with it. In this class you will learn to create your own Chandelier Earring Findings using jewelry wire.

Precious Metal Clay

Introduction to PMC
Learn how to create flat fine silver charms with texture for earrings, necklaces and linked bracelets. All the basics will be covered including the best ways of handling, texturing, sanding and firing. Also, the addition of bails for pendants and shanks for buttons will be covered. Stamps, textures, molds and templates will be provided for class use and an overview on how to make your own will be covered. The clay charms made in class will be fired that night and be available to be picked up the next day. The fee for the class is $125.00 which includes the 4 hour class, an ounce of standard PMC, and a starter tool kit.

For those of you not familiar with PMC, it is a product that will take your jewelry designs to a new dimension. Precious Metal Clay is composed of tiny particles of fine silver mixed with an organic binder which, when fired, burns off leaving solid silver. PMC's properties are the same as clay. Almost anything you can do with clay, you can do with PMC! The class is limited to 6 people. Your space will be held upon receipt of the class fee. Don't miss out on this great class.
