Learn to Make Your Own Jewelry at Beadworks

You can make your own jewelry for a fraction of the cost of buying it. We are a full-service bead store, with a huge variety of all the materials one would need to design and create your own jewelry. We boast a knowledgeable staff and an in-house design table where anyone can come in to assemble a piece on the spot. This is also where we hold classes and a range of parties for ages 5 and up.

Basic Classes

Basic Beading Classes at Beadworks

Just getting started? This is the perfect class for beginners who just are not sure if they are doing it "right"! Learn about several types of stringing, how to attach clasps to create basic necklaces and bracelets. Once you complete this class you will be able to begin making your own jewelry.

Wire Wrapping Classes at Beadworks

Learn to link beads with metal wire! This is a basic skill that will allow you to make earrings, necklaces and bracelets. You will learn to make beautiful, professional looking jewelry. You will also learn about the many different metals that can be used, including sterling silver and gold-filled, copper, brass, and less expensive plated metals.

Silk Knotting Classes at Beadworks

In this class you will learn to knot pearls and semi-precious stones with silk thread. You will learn the traditional European knotting technique used by professional beaders. A fabulous way to show off your most treasured beads!

Advanced Classes

Advanced Wire Wrapping Classes at Beadworks

For those who have mastered the basics but crave more unique designs, this class teaches how to make a necklace pendant using multiple gauges of wire and glass beads. The class introduces new tools as well as two new techniques that combine what you already know about wire with all the possibility of what it can do. Materials included.

Beaded Earring Classes at Beadworks

Every necklace deserves a great pair of earrings to go with it. In this class you will learn to create professional looking earrings. By the end the of the class you will be able to design earrings for any occasion.You will leave class with a pair of sterling silver or gold-filled earrings.

Project Classes at Beadworks

Create personalized charms and pendants with a few very placed whacks! Stamping is fun and easy. Our workshop will show you all you need to know. We have all the tools you need and the class fee includes all you need to make a charm necklace. Saturday, January 22nd 12pm-1pm
