The beauty of the piece lies in it's seemingly effortless mix of different shapes, tones and materials. As with any designs which have a randomly arranged appearance, I would urge you to vary the colors and patterns to suit your own taste and the availability of the beads. If you want to follow my design exactly, use the following patterns based on the code in the ingredients list:
For strand 1: Use the silver wire to wire wrap the following combinations: 3x(h, e,h); 3x(h, f, bf, h); 2x(h,a, a, a, h); 1x(h, d, g, b, g, d, h); 2x(h, c, h); 1x (h, a, a, a ,a a, a, H) 2x(h, g, d, d, d, g, h); 1x(h, b, h); 1x(h,g, d, g, h). Cut the silver chain into 10 one inch pieces and 7 ½” pieces. Use the jump rings to join the pieces of chain to the wire wrapped pieces so that every wire wrapped piece is separated by chain. Attach the spring ring clasps to the ends of the chain using two more jump rings. Make six dangles with the headpins and remaining rondels and attach them at random to several jump rings.
For strand 2: Thread a crimp onto the beading wire; pass the through the loop of the clasp and back through the crimp and squeeze the crimp shut. Thread on a 2.5mm silver bead. Now add 28 charlotte beads (j), a bead cap (f) an 8mm (b) and another bead cap (f). Repeat this pattern another 16 times and add a final group of 28 charlotte beads. Add a 3mm silver bead and a crimp and attach to the other clasp.
For strand 3: Thread a crimp onto the beading wire; pass the through the loop of the clasp and back through the crimp and squeeze the crimp shut. Thread on: s, 7j, b, 7j, s, 3a, s, 7j, s, k,s, 3j, s, b, s, 3j, s, k, s, 7j, s, 5a, s, 3j, b, 3j, s, d, s, 5j, h, e, h, 5j, s, j, s, k, s, j, s, k, s, j, s, k, s, j, s, c, s, 5j, s, j, b, j, s, 5j, s, d, s, d, s, d, s, 7j, s, 3a, s, 7j, s, j, s, k, s, j, s, b, s, j, s, k, s, j, s, 7j, s, 5a, s, 5j, h, e, h, 5j, s, j, b, j, s, 5j, s, 3a, s, 5j, s, k, s, j, s, 5j, s, c, s, j, s, k, s, j, s, 7j, s, b, s, j, s, b, s, j, s, b, s, 7j, s, d, s, 3j, s,h, e, h, 9a. NOw, using the last set of leaves as the center point, reverse the patern to copy it so that the other side of the necklace matches the first. Add a bead crimp and attach to the final spring ring clasp.
Hook all of the spring ring clasps onto the 8mm silver ring to create the three strand necklace.
